Citrus Energy Corporation was founded in 1989. The Company has grown through property acquisitions and drilling programs in a number of states. It has been a recent focus for the Company to pursue and drill acreage acquired in unconventional shale resource projects. These include Barnett Shale in North Texas and the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania.
It has and will continue to be Citrus’ goal to perform all tasks needed to develop leasehold in a timely manner that exceeds the expectations of Citrus’ lease holders. With ready access to rigs, through its association with a drilling company, Citrus is able to offer short-term drilling commitments to its lease holders that larger exploration companies cannot offer. The Citrus management team has employed a hands-on approach to business which has given Citrus the ability to make quick decisions and react swiftly to all types of situations.
Through associations with noted shale resources experts, Citrus Energy is able to apply the best technology available to drill and complete it's shale projects. The continuing use of this strategy has given Citrus the capability to offer its lease holders the shortest time period between inception of a lease to a steady stream of revenue from a successful well.
